REGISTRATION
ARTC New Teacher Seminar – This course is tailored for individuals embarking on teaching careers via non-traditional certification pathways. It imparts fundamental knowledge and practical skills essential for thriving in diverse educational environments. Whether transitioning from another profession or pursuing a direct route to teaching, participants will acquire vital competencies necessary for success in their roles as educators.
ARTC Teaching Methods Seminar – This course is designed to equip ARTC candidates with essential instructional strategies and techniques to effectively engage students and facilitate meaningful learning experiences across diverse educational environments. Students will explore a range of pedagogical approaches designed to address the unique needs and complexities encountered in contemporary classrooms.
ARTC 2026 Summer Seminars – Registration OPENS April 13. For current ARTC teachers only.
- PAYMENT for the New Teacher Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full no later than May 29th. Sessions will be held online via Zoom. Instructor: John Scali; Summer I ~ Wednesday evenings; Dates 6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24, and 7/1; If a payment plan is needed, the first payment is due no later than May 29th. (See below for the payment schedule) You may request a payment plan on the registration form.
- PAYMENT for the Methods Seminar of $1,000 is DUE in full by June 26th.
Sessions will be held online via Zoom. One week synchronous and one week asynchronous. Instructor: Shernette Hayward; Summer II ~ Wednesday evenings; Dates 7/15, 7/22, 7/29, 8/5, and 8/12 (In-Person – New Teacher Insitute). If a payment plan is needed, the first payment is due June 26th. (See below for the payment schedule) You may request a payment plan on the registration form. - PAYMENT for Both Seminars of $2,000 is DUE in full no later than May 29 for Summer I ($1000) & June 26 for Summer II ($1000). (See below for the payment schedule) You may request a payment plan on the registration form.
Payments for Non-credited Seminars
- Paying for non-credited courses is a different process from paying for credited courses.
- Payment for non-credited courses is made via the Cashier’s Office.
- You have two payment options: (have your invoice & customer number available)
- Pay via ACH (online check) at www.udel.edu/miscpay
- Pay via credit card by calling the Cashier’s Office at (302) 831-1242

First date is for New Teacher Seminar, date in ( ) is for Method Seminar
- Payment 1 of $250 due by May 29th (June 26th)
- Payment 2 of $250 due by June 12th (July 10th)
- Payment 3 of $250 due by June 26th (July 24th)
- Payment 4 of $250 due by July 10th (August 7th)
If you are taking both seminars, this is your payment schedule:
- Payment 1 of $500 due by May 29th
- Payment 2 of $500 due by June 19th
- Payment 3 of $500 due by July 10th
- Payment 4 of $500 due by July 31st
