NAAC Finalists for Outstanding New Educator Awards

NAAC is excited to announce the winners of the annual Conference Awards for Outstanding New Educators.  The winners each receive a $1,000 award and opportunity to participate in the NAAC annual conference March 15-18, 2017. Selected from a national pool of nominees, these exemplary educators are all in their first three years of teaching, were certified through an alternative route program that is a member of NAAC, and demonstrate passion for and commitment to the success of every student. The winners are:

Congratulations, Mr. Schifano!

You have been selected as one of five finalists for the National Association for Alternative Certification (NAAC) Outstanding New Educator Awards.

As a finalist for the NAAC award, you are now invited to submit a video showing yourself as a teacher interacting with your students in a classroom setting.  This video should portray your teaching skills, the general learning environment, and the students’ level of engagement.

Matt is a 2nd year Business Education teacher at Selbyville Middle School in the Indian River School District.
