Delaware Transition to Teaching Partnership (DT3P) is a five-year federal grant to help recruit Science, Technology, English, and Math secondary education teachers for high-needs schools in Delaware. Using the Alternative Routes to Certification (ARTC) (http://www.artc.udel.edu) model , candidates take courses during their first two years to acquire certification. Under the DT3P program they also have the use of a personal coach for the first year, specialized workshops, scholarships towards tuition, and financial help with Praxis I and II tests. We are currently recruiting our first cohort of 15 students to begin this fall. Anyone interested can visit our website, www.dt3p.udel.edu, or email the project coordinator, Rob Grey, rgrey@udel.edu.
